Plan Your Visit
We'd love to have you worship with us this Sunday. Here's everything you need to know before you come — when we meet, where to park, and what to expect.
Service Times
We encourage you to arrive a few minutes early to get settled and prepare for worship.
Location & Directions
We gather at 126 E Bellevue St, Opelousas, LA 70570 — in the heart of downtown Opelousas. Get directions.
Parking
Parking is available directly across the street from the front of the sanctuary, free for members and visitors alike. There is also a drop-off spot in front of the main entrance if you'd like to let out family members before parking.

What to Expect
The Service
Our worship is reverent and joyful, following a simple, ordered liturgy: the public reading of Scripture, congregational singing of psalms and hymns (often in four-part harmony), confession, pastoral prayer, and the preaching of God's Word. We celebrate the Lord's Supper together every week. Most Sundays, the service runs about two hours.
Children in Worship
Families worship together at Christ Church, so you'll hear the happy sounds of children throughout the service — yours are welcome just as they are. We do not operate a separate nursery or children's church. Read more about why.
Communion
The Lord's Supper is celebrated weekly and is open to any baptized, professing Christian. Both wine and grape juice are offered.
What to Wear
There is no official dress code, though we believe gathering for corporate worship is a special occasion, and most of us dress in a manner reverent to our Lord. Don't let wardrobe questions keep you from joining us. More on this in the FAQ.
